Multipurpose filtration device. This specific type of filtration allows you to achieve an excellent level of beverage purification without changing the basic properties of the decanted liquid.
The pump can be used to pump any type of clean liquid for everyday use, which must not be chemically aggressive or abrasive. Some examples: water, wine, milk, vinegar. It is particularly suitable for filtering wine, water, infusions, beer, pharmaceutical solutions, perfumes. It does not require any special maintenance other than routine cleaning. Filtration is the last step in winemaking and requires knowledge of some basic safety precautions. Young wine (30 days) is not ready for fine filtration. By following our instructions, you will find the right way to perform quality filtration with COLOMBO® FILTER PULCINO®. 1. For best results, the wine should be aged for at least two to three months and brought to room temperature before filtration. During this time, the wine gains body and allows the largest amount of suspended particles to be decanted. At this point, use COLOMBO® FILTER PULCINO® to finish the wine. If excellent treatment is required, use rinsing filters. Remember to wait two to four days between filtrations. 2. If you want to filter young wine (30 days), you should always use a coarse filter first; you can use finishing filters immediately afterwards. During filtration, the young wine is agitated by the presence of CO2 (carbon dioxide) produced during fermentation; wait a few hours before bottling.
